Description
Nichols visited the Chicken Express restaurant on Ovilla Road in Dallas March 20, 2020 to redeem a coupon provided during a previous visit. Restaurant personnel refused to honor the coupon, a discussion ensued and then one of the employees leaped through the drive-through window and attacked Nichols in his vehicle. Nichols sustained several injuries during the assault and required surgery on his right finger. Nichols filed a police report April 1, 2020. No charges have been brought against the restaurant employee. Nichols filed a civil suit against the employee and restaurant.
